1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Information We Collect

You give us: your name, email address, store details, and payment information when you create an account, build a store, or contact us. Your device gives us: if you turn on notifications, a push notification token together with an identifier for your browser or device, and for the mobile app the device model and operating system version — we need these to deliver a notification to the right device, and to no other device. We generate: crash and error diagnostics when something in the app fails. Through your store: the order and customer information your buyers give you, which you control and we process on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to process transactions, to send the notifications you have asked for, to diagnose faults, and to communicate with you about your account and our platform. We do not use your data, or your customers' data, to train advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

4. Crash and error diagnostics

We use an error monitoring service to record crashes and technical errors. It is configured not to send personally identifying information and to strip identifying values before an error leaves your browser, so these reports are not linked to you as an individual. If that ever changes we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

5. Where your data is processed

Zimam is operated from the United States and our service providers are located in the United States and the European Union. This means personal data collected in Algeria and elsewhere is transferred outside the country it was collected in and processed abroad. We rely on your use of the service and on contractual commitments with our providers as the basis for that transfer. 6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who perform a part of the service for us: payment processing, delivery carriers you choose to connect, push notification delivery by the operators of your device platform, error monitoring, and, if you sign in with a provider, the identity provider you chose. Each receives only what that function needs. We also disclose data where the law requires it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account and store data for as long as your account is open. Push notification registrations are deleted when you sign out or turn notifications off. Diagnostics are kept for a limited period and then discarded. After you ask us to delete your account we remove your data as described on our Data Deletion page, except for records we must keep by law, such as financial records.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of your data through your dashboard or by contacting us. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly you may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and advertising/analytics pixels to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, measure sign-up funnel performance, and analyze our traffic. Our Cookie Policy explains which ones and why. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

11. Children

Zimam is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
